Definitely faded as the Italian season wore on.
A good mate of mine is a huge Torino fan. When Vlasic first signed on loan, he was gobsmacked that we didn't need him and kept banging on about what a "great" player he is.
Forward to May, and the Toro mob are definitely less than keen. I asked the other day whether the fans would want to sign him and the response was "don't know - he needs to improve a lot!"

To be fair it's in Torino's interest to try to lowball the deal. If we say no or another club comes in for him then they can always use the option to get him for the €12m if they want to. That would be why they'd make a lower offer now while the option is still in place rather than wait until the season is over. The option expires on June 10.

With those stats it can only be a matter of time before the big clubs are offering us obscene amounts of money to prise him away.
What Swiss didn’t mention in the same article he got those stats from is that Torino have the option to sign him for 11 million this summer but are trying to convince West Ham to accept 7.8 million instead.
